Golf on TV - Can't watch Golf Channel    Back to Topics  Page: 1 of 3

Most golf used to be on cable basic channels until Golf Channel came along. Now one has to have a premium subscription to cable or satellite to watch most golf. I can't afford it, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. I think Golf Channel would have a lot more viewers if they were available on lower-priced subscription packages.

No big deal really. It is the same with all the local channels, if you want them-pay for them. I pay an extra 20.00 for a bigger package so i can watch TCG and my local channels.

ken,

I wish I could switch with you. I get Golf Channel with my basis cable package, but I quit watching it due to the excessive schmoozing of Woods and the intensive hyping of Ms. Wie.

Also, far too much of their time is spent on ads and the furthering of their own promos.
